Do I need a prescription for Wegovy?
Yes. Wegovy is a prescription only medicine. An online pharmacy can supply it only after its prescriber has assessed you through a consultation, and the prescriber decides whether it is suitable for you and which strength to prescribe.
How can I check a pharmacy is genuine?
Every pharmacy listed on The Dose Club is on the General Pharmaceutical Council register, and its registration number is on its provider page. You can search the register yourself on the GPhC website before you order.
Can I get Wegovy on the NHS?
NICE technology appraisal TA875 recommends semaglutide (Wegovy) on the NHS in England for some adults, within a specialist weight management service and for a maximum of two years, when conditions on body mass index and weight related conditions are met.
