The leaflet gives the fridge temperature range, says not to freeze the pen, and gives how long a pen can be kept out of the fridge once in use. Within those rules there is a lot of practical detail: which shelf, how to stop the pen touching the back wall, a thermometer, a tub so nobody moves it, and what to do on a hot day out. What has worked for you?

A fridge thermometer costs little and settles the question of whether your fridge runs colder than the dial suggests, because freezing is the thing the leaflet rules out.
If a pen has been out longer than the leaflet allows, or you think it froze, that is a question for your pharmacist before you use it.
